Kristin's three half marathons in three days challenge!
Fantastic supporter Kristin is taking on three half marathons in three days for RASASC!

24-year-old Kristin is taking on the incredible challenge in June. We caught up with the future trainee solicitor to find out why she's decided to take on such a huge challenge:
She says: “I started running in July 2023. I originally just wanted to be able to do 10k, but I ended up running my first half-marathon in October!
“I wanted to give myself a challenge, so I came up with this idea of running three half marathons in three days. As well as taking on the challenge, I wanted to do it for charity, so I decided to run for RASASC as they are an organisation that holds a special place in my heart. They do incredibly important work supporting people in my local area, and this is my way of giving back and helping them continue their mission.
“Training is going well, and I'm enjoying it so far, but I am still working on building up my distance after taking it easy over the winter. I think I will find it more challenging when I am doing multiple long runs a week as I tend to get bored quite easily!
“I am sitting my Solicitors Qualifying Exams in May so revision is currently taking up most of my time, and I'm also going to Italy a couple of weeks before the races, but I will be using that as the perfect opportunity to carb load!
“My plan is to treat the first day as a long easy run and then try and build up my pace each day. I'm hoping to complete each race in under 2 hours 20 minutes, and I know the support of my friends and family at each event will help to spur me on. I’m currently trying to convince my friends to enter with me, but they’re not too keen!”
The three half marathons Kristin will be running are:
Friday 21st June
– Day 5 of Marathon Madness - the Widewater Half Marathon
Saturday 22nd June
- Denbies Half Marathon
Sunday 23rd June
- Richmond Park Half Marathon
