RASASC's new live chat service launches on Wednesday 13 March at 7.30pm.
Launched as a new way to access help and support for survivors of rape and sexual abuse and their families, the live chat will initially be open on Monday and Wednesday evenings between 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
The live chat is a text-based chat service that you can access through your phone, tablet or PC. It is operated by RASASC volunteers, so you will always be chatting with a real person, never a bot.
Visitors will be able to access the chat through our website by clicking on the orange speech bubble. The speech bubble will only be visible when the live chat service is open.
Daisy Anderson RASASC CEO said: "The live chat offers us a different way to provide a quality service to our clients. We know there are people who need our support, but for various reasons they are unable to reach out to us, so we're launching the live chat to help bridge this gap.
"We particularly want to reach younger people as we recognise there are a large proportion of survivors aged 13-25 who are unable to reach out so we hope this will give them an alternative way to access the vital support they so rightly deserve.
"Please do share the live chat with anyone who may benefit - it's not just for survivors, it's for friends and families or anyone needing support"
